A New Name, A New Chapter for The Shine Om Podcast
If you’ve been here since Season 1, you might remember the podcast under its former name, Raw With Rach. That season was about real, vulnerable conversations, highlighted members of our community and Season 2 builds on that foundation with deeper intention. I wanted a new name that reflects the journey and all that this podcast embodies.
Breathe, Laugh, Parent captures the essence of what I teach through Shine Om and Shine Om Natural:
- Breathe: Come back to your body. Regulate your nervous system. Learn to pause before you react.
- Laugh: Lighten the load. Bring joy back into your daily rhythm. Laugh with your children, not just at memes on your phone.
- Parent: Lead with love, structure, and authenticity. Reconnect to what matters most.
This podcast is your audio exhale—a space to soften, reflect, and reset.
Episode 1: Coming Home to Yourself
In the first episode, I share my personal story: from supporting families for over 13 years, to In the first episode of Season 2, I share my journey—how I went from supporting families for over 13 years as an educator, coach, and yoga teacher, to navigating the beautiful chaos of becoming a stay-at-home mum of two under two.
Throughout the season, I will talk about:
- My postpartum healing journey, including nervous system regulation and letting go of the pressure to “bounce back”
- The inspiration behind The Joyful Parenting Project, my 8-week online experience

In Episode 1, I remind you that showing up for yourself isn’t selfish—it’s foundational. It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. It’s about romanticising the small moments, laughing more often, and breathing through the chaos with more ease.
