Family Yoga

Family Yoga is one of the most powerful tools for families navigating big transitions — especially the arrival of a new sibling. When everyone is adjusting to new routines, new roles, and big emotions, coming together through mindful movement helps the whole family find their feet. It’s a space to reconnect, co-regulate, and have a lot of fun along the way.

Grounded in nervous system science, these sessions weave breathing techniques, playful partner work, and mindful movement into an experience that supports children and parents alike — helping everyone feel a little more settled in themselves and each other.

What do we wear to Family Yoga?

Comfortable sportswear you can move freely in. Nothing too long or flowing that you might trip on — flowing skirts or wide-leg pants are best left at home.

What do we bring?

A yoga mat per person and a water bottle. Most importantly, bring an open mind and a willingness to have fun — especially if you’ve had a big week.

What will my family experience?

It’s a beautiful opportunity to bring the tools you’ve been building together into a shared, embodied experience — for you, your baby, and your older child, all moving and breathing as one.

Due to the interactive nature of Shine Om Kids Yoga sessions, it is essential for the health and safety of all attendees that your child does not attend if they are unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19, RSV or any other respiratory illnesses.

By purchasing this ticket, you accept that you will contact Shine Om in advance via email at info@shineom.com.au if your child(ren) is unwell and will not attend class. Transfers to another Shine Om Yoga class will be accepted if you provide 24-hour written notice that you cannot participate for these reasons. However, your responsibility is to arrange your booking if you wish to transfer your scheduled session.

Missed classes or any cancellations less than 24 hours are non-refundable.

Shine Om will operate these classes if three or more children are registered. If this quota is not met within 24 hours of the event start time, Shine Om will contact you via email to inform you the event is cancelled. Transfers to the next available class will be offered.
