Teen Yoga

This space is for tweens (11-12 years old) and teen boys and girls from Years 7 to college or High School to come together and connect with themselves and one another through yoga in a safe and nurturing digital environment.

Our classes are held via Zoom, so your Teen can join us from anywhere in Australia as long as they have access to a device and an internet connection.

Your Teen will be empowered to:

  • Identify stress and anxiety in the mind and body
  • Learn mindfulness skills
  • Develop an understanding of yoga poses and their benefits to the mind and body
  • Explore various yoga styles
  • Learn strategies to reduce stress and calm the mind
  • Work with their breath
  • Use their senses to be present in their body

Our teen yoga classes operate on Tuesdays within the ACT school term. We focus on releasing our ‘school muscles’ and accepting change and the challenges of our studies.

In 2023, we are launching online modules to complement our live classes. Term 1 begins on Tuesday, 7 March 2023, and runs for four consecutive Tuesdays of live classes, followed by 4-weeks of online modules.

Teen yoga in schools

We also teach our Teen yoga and mindfulness programs in schools. We can come to your college or high school or connect with your students online via Zoom or your preferred platform.

Information for teen referrers

Referrals from community support, such as counsellors, psychologists, OTs, youth workers etc., can share the signup process with their clients by submitting their details below. An email will be sent with a link to download our infographic.
